What Are the Steps to Be Followed in Case of Changes to the Information Recorded in the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Certificate?

1. If there are changes to the following information of the certified company:

• Trade name,

• Tax identification number,

• Address,

• Registered trade registry office and trade registry number;

The changes must be reported to the Regional Directorate that issued the certificate. The notification must include the original or certified copies of the Trade Registry Gazette or the Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen Registry Gazette. Alternatively, a certified copy provided by the Trade Registry Directorate, the Tradesmen and Craftsmen Registry Directorate, or authorized chambers via electronic networks/disks may be submitted.

• In case of a change in the tax identification number, the original letter obtained from the relevant tax office and the application form provided in Annex-1/A must also be submitted.

2. Notification Periods:

• Changes regarding the trade name, address, registered trade registry office, and trade registry number must be reported within five business days following the publication date of the change in the Trade Registry Gazette or the Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen Registry Gazette.

• Changes regarding the tax identification number must be reported within five business days following the date the change is notified to the certificate holder by the relevant tax office.
