Authorized Consignor Consultancy
Authorized Consignor: An Authorized Consignor is a status granted to a person or entity authorized to dispatch goods under the transit regime without presenting them to the customs office of departure. Under this authorization, the holder is responsible for the transit procedures and submits the transit declaration directly from their own premises.
Authorized Consignee: An Authorized Consignee is a status granted to a carrier or importer authorized to receive goods moving under the transit regime after they have entered the Customs Territory of the Republic of Türkiye. This status allows the holder to receive the goods at facilities covered by the Authorized Consignee authorization and/or On-Site Import Clearance permission, and to terminate the transit procedures at these locations without presenting the goods to the customs office of destination.

The Authorized Consignee status is obtained within the scope of the AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) certification. Conversely, the Authorized Consignor application process has been separated from the AEO framework and is now regulated under the Customs General Communiqué No. 14 (Transit Procedures).
